Cultivation of Mexican and tropical Pinguicula species in my new greenhouse

I am 40 years old, married and father of two sons. I am an agronomist and working at an international biotechnology company, being in charge of the worldwide development of genetically enhanced plant varieties.

About 15 years ago I got fascinated by carnivorous plants. Soon I specialised in cultivating Pinguicula species, often considered as not being so attracticive by CP lovers. Now I can be proud of having built up a collection containing more than 50 different species.

Beside being an ordinary member of the German CP society, the Gesellschaft für Fleischfressende Pflanzen (G.F.P.), I am responsible for the trade of plants between members within the society.
