Lateral view of a flower of P. jackii (in culture). Not only on the inside but also on the outer surface of the white corolla tube there are violet, parallel running veins visible. The spur has a white colour in the upper part starting from the tube, then gets more light green towards the obtuse tip. The outside of the spur is only sporadically covered with stipitate glandular hairs.
